Riva powerboat enthusiasts and, more importantly, boat owners, here is something you are sure to enjoy! From August 27-30, Bellini Nautica, a historic company in Clusane, on Lake Iseo, will host the Riva “Young and Fun” gathering organized by the RHS, the Riva Historical Society. Behind the event is architect Piero Maria Gibellini, president of the association and one of the world’s leading experts on vintage Rivas.
Vintage Riva, the “Young and Fun” gathering from August 27 to 30
The Riva Historical Society is the sporting and cultural association that brings together owners of vintage Rivas and pursues initiatives to keep the world of vintage Riva powerboats alive and active. Founded precisely by Piero Maria Gibellini and Carlo Riva with a group of other friends, today the association organizes many events such as Riva Day, which, however, has been postponed to 2021.
However, the “Young and Fun” gathering in Clusane on Lake Iseo, now scheduled for Aug. 27-30, has been confirmed.
The program of the Riva motorboat rally “Young and Fun”
- Aug. 27: Arrival in Clusane and mooring at the outside dock of Bellini nautica and then continue the evening freely
- Aug. 28: Sail to Lovere, moor at the harbor, have lunch and tour of the old town and then continue the evening freely
- Aug. 29: Sailing and circumnavigation of Montisola at a speed of 3 knots in the channel, lunch on the island and then return to Bellini nautica and be guided through the Bellini collection. The evening will conclude with dinner at the port of Clusane d’Iseo.
- Aug. 30: Sailing to Sarnico and group photo ritual in front of the Riva Shipyard, then picnic and free sailing, late afternoon will be the parade for the Concours d’Elegance in front of our Bellini nautical headquarters. The evening will conclude with a dinner and final awards ceremony.
