Tohatsu unveils a new range of outboard engines

Tohatsu Outboards unveiled a world premiere at Boot Düsseldorf 2020 (18-26 January 2020). The new prototype is the most powerful model of the new line. The basis of this line is in the latest models made by the Japanese manufacturer and starts from the best seller of Tohatsu: the Tohatsu MFS40, in addition to the MFS9.9/15/20E models. Attention to the environment with low fuel consumption, high torque delivered in acceleration and sporty design are among the elements with which Tohatsu wants to compete in the market.

The engineers have also developed a new exhaust manifold design, unique in outboard engines of this type, which will help to further improve the torque generated. Research results from Tohatsu Corporation’s Engineering Department state that the MFS115 outboard engine will be able to generate extremely high torque. The goal is to be able to achieve a faster glide speed and offer comfortable and fun, but above all, reliable navigation.

The brand new range of MFS75 / 90/ 100 / 115A, and in particular the new MFS115 will be available on the market in two colour options: Acqua Marine Blue or Beluga White and will be officially presented at the next Genoa Boat Show.
