LEARN MORE ABOUT PLANET BOATING
From Sept. 20 to 25, there will be six days dedicated to ForumUCINA’s institutional conferences, workshops, events and sports award ceremonies, complemented by “Sea Experience” activities where it will be possible to try out the latest in water sports or get involved in challenges and events organized to entertain visitors. The ForumUCINA conference program, will kick off on Thursday, September 20 with the inaugural conference “Global Champions. Boating and the Winning Country.” This will be followed on the same day by the highly anticipated presentation of industry data from The Boating Industry in Figures as part of the “Boating Economic Forecast” conference. Over the course of the six-day event, key issues of interest to the industry, from tourism and ports to boating and taxation to technological innovation and environmental sustainability, will be addressed and explored.

SUSTAINABILITY.
During the six-day event, there will be numerous entities hosted at the Boat Show committed to engaging and raising awareness among the general public on the issue of protecting and defending the sea. From environmental actions, to 100% recyclable sails, all proposals aim to involve every figure related to the sea who is potentially able to actively contribute to the cause: institutions, boaters, boat clubs, industry operators, marinas, volunteers, swimmers.
Famous sailor Mauro Pelaschier will also be there, as part of the One Ocean Foundation initiative, a project of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda. The former Azzurra helmsman is sailing to complete the circumnavigation of Italy in stages and raise awareness of the problem of microplastics in seas around the world. Leaving Trieste on June 29, Pelaschier will arrive in Genoa on September 21 and will be welcomed at the Boat Show and attend the opening night organized by the Italian Yacht Club. https://salonenautico.com/
