A boat doesn’t necessarily need to be newly presented to draw attention. This is why we have decided to dedicate this space to the Rio Yachts Paranà 38. Officially presented in 2014, she is still a contemporary boat and a leading model in her category, characterized by a overall length of 12.30 meters and a hull length of 9.98 meters. Designed by Marino Alfani – you know, he is no longer an up-and-coming designer but a well-known leader of yacht design – the boat features sophisticated and functional details and style. The superstructure, for example, has sharp clean lines and an opening soft top which can transform this coupé into an almost open model, exposing only a roll bar and the forward overhand of the cover. The two-tone play of topsides, dark in the lower section and clear in the upper one, contributes to streamline the profile, which is inevitably voluminous to accommodate such interiors.
The deck layout is traditional, equipped with side sun pads, convivial areas in the middle and a multitude of amenities, including a dinette with electrical table which can turn into an additional sunbathing platform or dinner zone. Below deck, a spacious dinette is flanked by a convenient interior galley, two double cabins and two bathrooms. The master cabin is in the bow while the guest one is next to the engine room. Power comes from twin Mercruiser inboard-outboard engines. As an option, Volvo Penta engines are also available.
