Lazzara Yachts is back with a new addition to its LSX range, the Lazzara SLX 67 Limited Edition, a limited edition of an already highly successful series. Characteristic of the Limited Edition will not only be the colour scheme – an elegant Midnight Blue – but a rather radical stance. Revolutionary, to quote the statement issued by the US shipyard.
Lazzara SLX 67
The SLX 67 Limited Edition will indeed be midnight blue and will focus on a major upgrade of the master cabin. A revolution that we will see more of once we understand the standard design as a whole, a 20-metre cruiser that is fast, high-performance, and seemingly ideal for short-range and single-handed cruising.

Lazzara SLX 67 – Exteriors
First and foremost, a tall, slender bow and a double elliptical profile project the entire line of the Lazzara SLX 67 forward, giving it a dynamism that is present even when the boat is stationary. Evident steps in the hull, thrown upwards from the bow pulpit, further emphasize this momentum, drawing distinctive lines of a model that has already enjoyed widespread success. But exteriors are not limited to lines alone.

The bow section accommodates a large sunpad and a C-shaped sofa at the end of the curved windscreen. Between the two relaxation areas, unfailingly, a small table. From here, two well-protected corridors lead to the stern, where a raised cockpit, equipped with a sofa and coffee table, overlooks both the interior and the beach area below. But it is when the boat is stationary that the exteriors are at their best, regardless of the tones, whether classic white or Limited Edition Midnight Blue.

As soon as the boat is stationary and safe, the sides aft of the cockpit can be folded down, and the beach area becomes the spacious centrepiece of the boat. Accessible by two open ramps on either side of the cockpit, this beach area is immediately cosy, thanks to double mirrored sofas with integrated drink holders, and a double sundeck in the centre of the symmetry. The aft platform concludes the hull, immediately behind the backrests, offering an ideal platform for bathing and relaxation. The folding bulwarks are a solution that is starting to be adopted more and more often, but here they provide not only excellent space but also a pleasant line to the boat’s design.

Interior
The heart of conviviality is found in the main deck saloon, an open space area that also houses the helm station and all the navigation-related equipment. Here, on the starboard side, there is a large L-shaped sofa with coffee table, while on the port side there is a bar area overlooking the cockpit, and a furnished wall leading to the forward access to the lower deck. And it is on the lower deck that the Limited Edition will really take shape.
Although the main configuration remains more or less intact, with a double forward cabin with head, a galley aft of this one, and then guest cabin, crew cabin and bathroom, it will be in the aft Master Suite that everything changes. In its standard version, this cabin is already remarkable in itself, full beam, and equipped with a double bed, private toilet, and large panoramic windows on both sides. A truly spacious cabin that goes even further, however, thanks to a radical modification made by the Limited Edition. The aft bulkhead here suddenly changes, suddenly offering a second access and a second view: the beach area becomes immediately accessible from the cabin, turning into the cabin terrace. Obviously screened from the outside, thanks to the dark, smoked colours of the facing windows. Suddenly, in the Lazzara Limited Edition SLX 67, the suite is surrounded by the sea on three sides, a point of extreme pride for the US shipyard.

Propulsion and Performance
Lastly, performance, identical (according to statements) in both versions. In fact, the Lazzara SLX 67 has two distinct engines, both powered by twin Volvo IPS engines, 1200 each in the standard case, and 1350 in the optional oversized version. In both variants, the tanks hold up to 2850 litres of fuel.
Overall pleasant, versatile and performing, the SLX 67 thus reaches cruising speeds of 30 knots, and can be pushed up to 35 knots.
The debut of the Lazzara SLX 67 Limited Edition is apparently scheduled for the Miami Boat Show 2023.
