Inflatable SUP: the ultimate accessory for summer fun

A boating vacation is already a unique and wonderful experience in itself, but with little it can be enriched and made a hair more fun. For example, inflating a SUP to explore the surroundings while leaving the boat at anchor, or mounting a “pool” for younger guests on board. With inflatable solutions you can have accessories ready when needed, without taking up space and accumulating weight on the hull.

HERE YOU WILL FIND THE SELECTION OF SUP & INFLATABLES FOR THE SUMMER

SUP: what it is and why you should have one on board

SUP stands for Stand Up Paddle, which if you will can be defined as a simpler variant of surfing. It is a sport that is played with a board and paddle, which is used for propulsion by standing on the board. The board is usually thicker and bulkier than a surfboard, and in recent years many inflatable variants of the classic rigid SUP board have become popular. This allows us to carry SUP equipment on board, embarking a deflated folded board, with the bulk of a backpack weighing about 40 liters and ten kilograms, and a telescopic paddle. The sport has caught on a lot lately, this is because it is fun and easy to learn, even as a self-taught paddler. All you need is a good sense of balance and a decent feel for the paddle. It is especially liked because it allows people to explore coves and ravines of the coast by combining sporting activity with relaxation and fun.

If you are a beginner we recommend the Amura H3 SUP from JBay.Zone, inflatable and Made in Italy, with pump included and a mount to attach an Action Camera to the board. You can purchase it here inside the Boatique

However, if you want to paddle in company, there are extra-large models designed to accommodate more than one person on board. An example? The Big SUP Y3, which when inflated exceeds 5 meters in length and half a meter in width. Up to 6 people can board here at the same time, as the board holds a total weight of over 440 kilograms!
