His speed? 142 mph average. Jaguar Vector V20E achieved this record on the waters of Coniston Water, the lake of records, in England. The futuristic craft was designed and built in collaboration with Jaguar Racing’s technical partner, Williams Advanced Engineering, using technologies from Formula E electric race cars. It is powered by 320 kg of batteries and a pair of Yasa electric motors that generate 295 hp.
