Among the companies that best represent Made in Italy in boating, there is one that does not make boats. Whether sailing or motor, there are plenty of boats that mount Besenzoni accessories on board. Between the catwalks then, the company gives its best and continues to invest in innovation and development. This is demonstrated by the Super Compact PI 691, the latest addition. The goal of this walkway, as the name suggests, is to reduce footprint.
Besenzoni Super Compact Gangway PI 691
The new Besenzoni Super Compact walkway completes the range of series production. From the basic and essential Manual Walkway, to the high-end three-stage Telescopic Reversing Walkways with Hydraulic movement through the Hydraulic External Walkways and the External Swivel Walkways.
The new little baby is the Besenzoni catwalk. Super Compact PI 691, polished or powder-coated stainless steel recessed hydraulic walkway with manual stainless steel stanchions and rope, solid teak platform and non-slip inserts with the special feature of having a compact 1.2-meter box with a height of 15 cm.
The length – of 1.5 meters – is also respectable, ideal for motor boats or maxi ribs with little space to install the containment box. It also takes to being placed on a platform since it tilts upward making it easier to access the boat from the dock.
Besenzoni’s new gangways for small and large boats
A space-saving solution is appreciated on small boats for obvious reasons. Even on larger boats, however, taking up less space is always better. Thus, two other indented catwalks were also born.
PI 563, with a squarer, more modern design, and the PI 583, with evergreen oval tubulars, but for much larger types of boats than those mounting the super compact. The length in the standard model is up to 8 meters, but it can be made to measure. Despite the size, thanks to a compacting system of the 4 telescopic sections, the space required for the box is reduced compared to three-stage walkway versions.
Both models tilt up and down. The walking platform is full-width (edge-to-edge) and reaches up to 50 centimeters. Remote control and control panel for operation from the cockpit are provided as standard, but handling can also be managed via the Besenzoni Control Device App that can be connected to 8 devices.
