The boating world is experiencing a positive moment, particularly in the luxury sector. But how do you get to work in a sector as elitist as that of high-end yachts? Learning from those who have known this world for many years, starting from the base: how to approach and manage the customer, how to find him, what to organize to make him feel “cuddled”. If for yacht design and design, without forgetting the various specializations to become captain of yachts, there are certainly schools and training centers, we can not say the same for Luxury Yachting Management, at least until now.
HOW TO SPECIALIZE IN LUXURY YACHTING MANAGEMENT
From September 2019 La Rochelle Business School, part of Excelia Group, launches its new specialization in Luxury Yachting Management, an integral part of the MSc Global Luxury and Fashion Management master’s programme, with two possible courses, from 16 to 24 months.
The master is held in France at La Rochelle, home of world yachting and many prestigious shipyards. The Rochelle Business School has integrated the new specialization in the educational offer of a master that takes place between La Rochelle, Paris and Florence, with compulsory internship with concrete possibilities for students to do it in prestigious shipyards and boat dealers. The school has several partnerships and exchange opportunities with other institutes around the world (with students arriving in France to attend only a year or a semester). The master’s degree is held in English.

THIS WOMAN IS GOING TO TEACH YOU THE ART OF NAUTICAL MARKETING
There is an exceptional teacher in the team of the specialization course in Luxury Yachting Management, the Italian Francesca Goi. Among the many experiences in the nautical sector, the role of marketing manager in Mercury (Brunswick group) and in the shipyard Sessa, which then evolved into the teaching in the Business School of Sole 24 ore. Francesca, who now lives in France, works closely with the director of the Master, Professor Serena Rovai, also Italian.
