We gave you a preview of Nerea Yacht’s NY24 as soon as the project was made official. Today we will tell you about this new day cruiser live from the Dusseldorf Boat Show, where it made its international debut today.

Capture the eye immediately NY24, the new day cruiser from Nerea. All the essence of “made in Italy” in a 7.35 metre day cruiser that represents a concentration of modern design. Liveability of the spaces and good marine qualities combined with very sophisticated and elegant lines: a boat with which not to go unnoticed even with less than 8 meters of boat.
The soul is clearly luxurious sports as demonstrated by the tapered external profile, the refinement of materials and finishes. In reality, a more attentive observer will not fail to notice that the boat is very versatile, suitable for going swimming and spending a day at sea, or for simple day trips. Like all Med Boats, modern day cruisers, it is also designed for a long weekend on board. It can also be used as a “villa” boat, moored in front of the house or as a mega tender, a superyacht tender. Of course, the boat offers room for personalisation, which is very important for owners of luxury boats, who can then design the boat to suit their needs.
Boat configuration: NY24 on deck
The heart of the boat is the living area developed in the middle of the boat, with a convertible dinette where the central table, which can be folded down, allows you to expand the relaxation area by increasing the surface of the sundeck already available aft. The cockpit can be equipped with two drawer refrigerators, a concealed sink and a hob, for moments of conviviality and relaxation. The transom platform and three-storey design of the transom facilitates descent and ascent from the wharf, and the stern door, with electric opening, facilitates the inspection of the engine in the engine room. The entire deck, from the stern platform to the extreme bow, in addition to the steps that descend into the cabin, are covered with teak that helps to give that touch of contemporary classic style to the boat. There is also protection from the sun in the hottest hours, thanks to a retractable awning that covers the entire living area. When not in use, it is stored in a special compartment, while the carbon poles are stored in two pockets in the deck, which can be easily accessed from the cockpit.

The Nerea NY24 below deck has a storage sofa – which can be transformed into a double bed if necessary – a retractable toilet, a place where you can spend an entire day and night on board. The comfort is also given by the large stowage spaces created inside, the equipment of the audio-visual system and the natural light that dominates the cabin, thanks to two long windows carved into the side walls. A central tambour with two sliding smoked glass doors allows extremely comfortable access to the cabin as well as contributing to the brightness diffused below deck.
Not only aesthetics, but also technical aspects. The “V” hull with deadrise of 18.5° to facilitate the passage on the wave and a safe driving even with sea format. The marine qualities of the Nerea NY24 make it a boat suitable for navigation under the coast, but also in the open sea, thanks to a reduced draught that allows you to reach bays and inlets from the bottom shallow. The inboard propulsion installed on the first NY24 unit guarantees sports performance with a top speed of 32 knots and a comfortable cruising speed of 26 knots. On this boat, the anchor, at rest, is contained by the flap nose with stainless steel shield, respecting the essential lines of the boat and is operated from the dashboard with an electromechanical movement.
