Fabio Planamente and Luigi Servidati are no longer just managers; they have also become owners of the historic Cantiere del Pardo, which also markets the Pardo Yachts brand. In a management buyout just completed, the two partners took a majority stake in the shipyard. At the top of the new corporate structure, Servidati will serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors and Planamente as Chief Executive Officer.
Thanks to a €5 million capital increase, the shipyard will be able to continue to grow and develop its two brands-Pardo Yacht s in the powerboat world and Grand Soleil Yachts in the sailing world. This transaction had the firm LS Roma as financial advisor through senior partner Riccardo Acernese.
The sketch: who are Servidati and Planamente?
Luigi Servidati and Fabio Planamente have led the shipyard as managers since 2014, having worked there for several years, the former since 2000 and the latter since 2009, holding various positions. In 2014, when the Trevisani family joined the company, Luigi Servidati was chosen as Sales Director, responsible for marketing, sales and product development, and Fabio Planamente as General Manager, a choice that has resulted in the yard’s growth: again this year, turnover will exceed 30 million euros. The two have made their mark by making “breakthrough” choices in the world of powerboats with the birth of the new Pardo Yachts brand and, for sailboats, the Long Cruise range in 2015 and in 2018 the new Custom Line. The Trevisani family and Andrea Amadori have reduced their holdings, but have maintained their presence in the membership.
